When it come to travel, accommodation is one of the most important thing I always insist about. My principle is, we need a good rest after a long day walk. Of course travelling consist the most about walking. Then when we are back at our hotel, all we need is a good hot shower, with fluffy big bed where we can have a good rest and revitalize our energy. And then.. there goes our next morning. Wake up for another long walk again...

I won't be happy if we have to back to an old gloomy hotel squeezing with more that two people in a queen size bed. 

Thanks to Agoda, we found a list of nice hotel with good feedback on Trip Advisor and Lonely Planet. In the end we chose Hotel Salil, located at Sukhumvit Soi 11.

They have more than one branch in Sukhumvit itself, one in Soi 8 another in Soi 11. This hotel that we are staying is in Soi 11. 

Besides that, Sukhumvit Soi 11 itself is a nightlife streets full of bars and party whenever the sky turn dark. Red light districts are walking distance, as I can see the street market turned from selling clothes and accessories in the morning, become adult street market at night. I can see dildos and viagra are selling everywhere.

However Hotel Salil is sound proof from all the street noise. Which is good..!

The lobby itself is not that big, however the hospitality is so good. This Marco restaurant & bar is in associate with Hotel Salil. Bangkok weather is freaking me out when we first arrive there. While waiting for our check in process, Marco restaurant & bar provide each of us with an ice cold towel to cool down the heat and free roselle drinks and snacks.

Every rooms are decorated based on different theme. And of each different theme, the room are decorated in different way, as well as the bathroom design. The room I'm staying is Chaba style. It provide a big full length mirror where I can snap my outfit of the day hehehe.. Although it didn't provide any bathtub for this design, I've enjoyed my stay there.
